About Me
Hi There! I’m Lisa Scoville, the owner of New England Photography.
I’m married to a 20 year Veteran of the United States Army, the mother + step-mother to some pretty amazing people, a lover of the outdoors and a novice homesteader. I call the Palouse Region of the PNW home, which is known for its sprawling green rolling hills - along with its wheat and canola crops.
I learned to chase emotional pictures long before I ever called myself a photographer.
At first, I simply wanted to preserve the small, sacred moments unfolding inside my own home: Children growing faster than I could hold onto. The quiet strength of my Deaf child learning to navigate the hearing world with cochlear implants. Our dogs sprawled across the grass at sunset like guardians of our little universe…
But what began as documenting my family became something deeper — a calling to capture life as it truly is. Unique. Unscripted. Unfiltered.
I’m drawn to the stories that pulse with emotion: Families wrapped in laughter, high school seniors standing on the edge of who they’re becoming or two people choosing one another as lifelong adventure partners.
My photography style lives in the space where real life meets reverence — the wind-swept hair, the warm glow of a late summer evening, the quiet handholds that say more than words. I seek to capture connection.
So whether you’re eloping on a mountaintop, wandering through wheat fields, or simply wanting to hold onto this time in your life just a little longer… I’m here to tell your story.
